Lumber Storage

The lumber industry and building supply sector is in constant flux. The Cost of lumber has been at a record high recently. Buying lumber while prices are good is critical to a successful building supply company. This leaves some businesses in a lurch when storage becomes a problem.

That’s where Moultrie Warehouse and Storage comes in.

We have 9 full-service warehouses measuring 44,000 square feet each. Using third-party lumber storage allows you to buy when costs are low and store lumber, shingles, and building supplies until needed.

No more lost opportunities for low-cost lumber or unsecured lumber shipments waiting in the elements. Our warehouse staff will help load and unload lumber products as shipments arrive. This maintains your flow of goods and keeps logistics running smoothly.

Dedication is the Moultrie Difference

Moultrie Warehouse and Storage is a local Georgia-based storage company. We’ve been storing lumber and other materials for over two decades. Through the years, we’ve learned what to do and what not to do when it comes to proper lumber handling and storage.

Some of the ways we stand apart from other warehouses include:

  • Customized Storage Methods: Being in business since 2001, we know a thing or two about storing materials. We ensure all lumber is properly stacked for optimal quality control. We never lean boards or stand lumber vertically to save space.
  • Humidity Control: Georgia is known to be humid. We maintain optimal humidity and temperatures in our warehouses year-round.
  • Clean and Organized Storage: Our warehouses are up to code and well-maintained. You can count on Moultrie Warehouse and Storage to send your lumber back out looking the same way it did when it arrived at our bay doors.
  • Trained Handlers: Our staff is well-trained in the best loading and unloading practices. Lumber is never tossed or roughly handled. All building materials are stored in smooth, dry, clean spaces.

Moultrie Warehouse and Storage takes the stress out of managing lumber inventory, so you can focus on the day-to-day.

Limit Logistics Delays

Warehouse storage takes some of the guesswork out of lumber price management. Buy lumber when you want to and store it for as long as you need.

Our job is to give your lumber somewhere to go between purchase and sale/use. Storage is an important link in the supply chain, ensuring there aren’t disruptions in services and product delivery.

For a building or building supply company, stalls in lumber mean a loss in revenue. Protect your assets and maintain top ROI (return on investments) by delegating lumber to Moultrie Warehouse and Storage.

A Dedicated Space for Your Lumber and Building Supplies

We understand how stressful it is to juggle contract end dates while managing a lumber delivery schedule. We strive to ensure client workflow isn’t disrupted by storage concerns. Our warehouse is at your service for as long as it’s needed.

Moultrie, GA doesn’t have a lot of options for large lumber warehouse storage. For most lumber companies, this means driving out to Valdosta or Tifton for storage. We’re happy to offer professional lumber storage right here in Moultrie.

We’ve been serving Moultrie residents for more than 20 years. We handle a variety of products and high-profile businesses, including Birdsong Peanuts. You can count on us.
